Imogene (Strickland) Fields

Imogene Strickland Fields, age 79 of Danielsville, GA passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Born on Sept. 25, 1943 in Gastonia, NC, Mrs. Fields was the daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Smith Strickland. She was a member of Crossroads Church of God, Commerce, GA, was retired from Wayne Farms, and was preceded in death by a sister, Eloise Strickland.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Thomas Fields; daughters, Rhonda (DJ) Humphreys, Rita (Charles) Dooley, Tammy Adams; sons, Brian (Tonya) Fields, Jamie (Michelle) Fields, Kenny (Krystal) Fields; sister, Mary (Jack) Rulevitch; brother, Bobby Glenn David; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday, July 24, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Thompson and Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Galilee Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 12 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
