Mary Alice Threlkeld

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces a memorial wake for Mary Alice Threlkeld, 66, of Danielsville who passed away late Sunday evening at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Born in Cumming, GA, she was the daughter of James Calvin Mayhue of Flowery Branch and the late Mildred Opie Boss Mayhue. Along with her father, survivors include her husband, Robert Edsel Threlkeld and her children, Janice Elizabeth Threlkeld of Gainesville and Robert Edward Threlkeld of Danielsville. Mrs. Threlkeld was a wonderful mother who devoted much of her time raising her two children. She loved music and roses and also loved and cared for animals. A memorial wake for Mrs. Threlkeld will be conducted on Tuesday at 1 PM from the home of her son, Robert Edward Threlkeld located at 863 Nowhere Rd. in Danielsville.
