Alton Wayne Gillespie

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Alton Wayne Gillespie, age 63, of Hull who passed away on Tuesday November 4th, 2014. He was the son of the late James Albert and Martha Whiting Gillespie. Survivors include his wife, Linda Minish Gillespie of the home; sons, Michael Gillespie of Burgaw, NC and Andrew Gillespie of Hull; daughters, Holly Eller of Wilmington, NC and Melinda Gillespie of Bethlehem; brothers, Terry Gillespie of Gillsville and Kenneth Gillespie of Dahlonega; sister, Vickie Kennedy of Clermont and nine grandchildren, Devan, Brianna, Harley, Jordan, Jayden, Russell, Shyann, Jake and Cameron. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Larry and Jerry Gillespie.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday November 5th, 2014 from 6 pm until 8 pm, Thursday November 6th, 2014 from 2 pm until 4 pm and from 6 pm until 8 pm. Services will be held on Friday November 7th, 2014 at 2 pm from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Wendall Hanley and Jeremy Minish officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Memorial Gardens.
