Amy Louise Carey

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Mrs. Louise Carey, 79, of Danielsville who passed away on Friday at the Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Maysville, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Agnes Parr Ingram and was the widow of Lee Martin Carey, her husband of 56 years. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Ingram, a sister, Johnnie Pace and a daughter, Lavonda Haley. Survivors include her sons, David (Ginger) Carey of Ila and William R. (Debra) Carey of Alpharetta. A sister Lorene Austin of Maysville, Ga. Seven grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. T. Gary Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 PM and at other times at the residence located at 2959 Hwy. 106N in Danielsville.
