Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for April Louise Henderson, age 37, who passed away on Tuesday January 28th, 2014 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Charles Autry and Nora Louise Loggins Shaw. Survivors in addition to her mother are her husband, Jack Henderson; son, Timothy Charles Elrod of Commerce; daughter, Ashley Nicole Smith of Athens; grandchild, Braylon Charles Michael Jones of Athens; brother, Charles Greg Autry of Danielsville; sister, Charlotte Renee Pressley of Watkinsville; and step-son, Cosby L. Henderson of Nicholson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5th, 2014 from 9 AM until 12 Noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Services will be held at 12 Noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the funeral home.
