Arnold Lee Martin, age 84, of Gainesville, passed away Thursday Oct. 18, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Martin was born Oct. 2, 1934 in Dawsonville, GA to the late Toy & Ruby Clark Martin. He was a retired carpenter, having worked for several construction companies, Hartley Construction as well as Carroll Daniels Construction. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include, his faithful companion, Sarah, daughters, Wanda, Pamela, Debbie & Tammy, step daughter, Cheryl, step son, John, brothers, Morris & Larry, sister, Eva Mae, a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday Oct. 21, 2018 in the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marshall Dale officiating. Burial will be in Timberridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-6 Saturday Oct. 20, 2018 at the funeral home.
