Barbara Jean Sosbee

Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel in Danielsville, announces services for Barbara J. "Granny" Daniel Sosbee, 71, of Commerce who passed away early Monday morning at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens. Born in Florida, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Arnette Cole and was the widow of Raymond Sosbee. She was also preceded in death by a son, Roger Tracy Daniel. Survivors include her children, Craig Daniel of Danielsville, Russell Daniel, Michael Daniel and Christine Daniel, all of Commerce; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 4 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Danieslville with Rev. Bill Manus officiating after which the body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Danielsville on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service.
