Bernice Jeanette (Leachman) Wilder

Bernice Jeanette Leachman Wilder, age 78 of Commerce, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

She was born in Commerce, GA on April 4, 1946 to the late Hoyt and Rose Whitfield Leachman. Mrs. Wilder was a retired seamstress with Barrow Manufacturing and was preceded in death by a grandchild, Alexis Elizabeth Hattaway; sisters, Bonnie Morgan, Barbara Black, and Mary Dailey, all of Commerce, GA.

Survivors include her husband, C.L. Wilder; daughters, Tracy Hattaway (Mark), Kimberly Whitfield (Mark); sister, Betty Ledbetter; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
