Betty Ruth Priest, age 76 of Commerce, GA passed away Tuesday Dec. 01, 2015
Mrs. Priest was the daughter of the late Guy and Sallie Mae Hutchins Carthern and was the widow of Hank Priest. She was preceded in death by sisters, Geneva Hutchins and Mazie Cox.
Survivors include 2 sons, Ralph Carthern, Maysville, Jackson Jones, Gillsville; 3 daughters, Mary Parker, Betty Jo Sellers, Julie Sellers, all of Ila; 2 brothers, Billy Carthren, Commerce, Junior Carthern, Ila; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday Dec. 03, 2015 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel, Commerce with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11 am - 2 pm Thursday Dec. 03, 2015 at the funeral home.
