Bobby Lee Ledford

Mr. Bobby L. Ledford, age 83 of Gainesville, GA passed away Friday, August 28, 2020.

Born on October 9, 1936 in Andrews, NC, he was the son of the late Lee Rowland and Mary Lee Parr Ledford. He was preceded in death by his wife Reba Eugene Greenway Ledford. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lee Rowland Jr., Homer, Ted and Wilburn Ledford, and two sisters, Ruby Voyles and Mary Elizabeth Ledford.

Survivors include five sons, Johnny “Wade” Ledford (Elizabeth), Benjamin Franklin Ledford (Trina), Ronnie Lee Ledford (Lola), Donald Lee Ledford (Kimberly) and Wilburn “Wade” Ledford (Jackie); brothers, Comer, Melvin, and Ned Ledford; sisters, Christine Martin, Mary Vina Brooks, Wilma Smith, Pat Lewis and Reba Smith; he was the grandfather of fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday September 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday September 1st from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Interment will take place at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will gather at the Ivie Funeral Home reception room after the service on Wednesday for a time of food and fellowship.
