Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Bobby D. Snipes, of Commerce, who passed away on Thursday December 5th, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospice House. Mr. Snipes was the son of the late Louie and Ophelia (Boone) Snipes. Survivors include his sons, Michael Snipes and Timothy Snipes both of El Dorado Hills, CA; daughters, Katherine Snipes Baker of Antioch, CA, Jeanne Snipes Jacobs of Maysville, GA, Allison Sweeney of Texas, and Lisa Leedahl of Commerce, GA; Grandchildren, Chris Jacobs of Maysville, GA, Joshua Jacobs of Commerce, GA, Ceaser Chavez of Bethel Island, CA, Jessica Chavez of Antioch, CA, Cassandra Snipes of Reno, NV, Juliana Snipes of San Francisco, CA, Parker Snipes of El Dorado Hills, CA, Karyssa Snipes of Phoenix, AZ and Heather Sweeney of Phoenix, AZ;
Great Grandsons, Blaze Jacob of Statham, GA, Blake Evans of Maysville, GA, Cylus Chavez of Bethel Island, CA, Aucy Jacobs of Maysville, GA and Fisher Spohn of Antioch, CA. Along with his parents, Mr. Snipes was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Brown. Memorial services will be held Monday December 9th, 2013 at 3:30 PM at the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Dr. Carlton Allen will be officiating.
