Bryan Clark Stancil

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces the death of Mr. Bryan Clark Stancil, age 52 of Commerce, who passed away on Monday at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Stancil was the son of Theron and Nancy Sims Stancil of Commerce. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a daughter, Savannah Caitlin Stancil of Jefferson, a son, Coleman Clark Stancil of Jefferson, a stepson, Mark Alan Watkins of Snellville and a stepdaughter, Brooke Nicole Wilson of Gainesville; two brothers, Theron Stancil, Jr. of Marietta and David Stancil of Acworth; a sister, Susan Stancil of Nashville, TN. Mr. Stancil was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Richey and Mattie Lou Sims and Harold and Myrtie Lou Stancil. Visitation for Mr. Bryan Stancil will be on Friday, June 29 at 10 AM, in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Commerce with the memorial service following at 11 AM. Dr. Carlton Allen and Mr. Justin Safley will be officiating. The family is at the residence of Theron and Nancy Stancil. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Commerce or a charity of one's choosing.
