Carolyn Jones Harper

Carolyn Jones Harper, a cherished member of her community and a dedicated Insurance Verification Administrator at Athens Regional Medical Center, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. She was born on March 4, 1947, in Atlanta, Georgia. Carolyn was known not only known for her professional accomplishments but also for her generous and kind personality, which left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, John Fleming. Their partnership was built on love, respect, and mutual admiration, which enriched both of their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ozie Purcell Jones and Lauren Bell Whidley, who both provided her with a strong foundation of values that she carried with her throughout her life.

A direct cremation will take place in accordance with Carolyn's wishes. Carolyn's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
