Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Cassandra Ann Carey, 30, of Commerce who passed away on Saturday. Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Kimberly Carol Fitzpatrick of Madison County and Herbert Carey, Jr. of Commerce. Other survivors include a daughter, Savannah Carey, a brother, Trey Carey, a sister, Greta Carey and a half-sister, Christina Carey, all of Commerce. Services are scheduled for Friday at 1 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 PM.
