Born September 16, 1934 in Dickinson, ND, he grew up in Colorado Springs, with one brother Wallace Page, and his mother Agnes Page. He joined the Navy as a young man. He met and married Lou Ella Guffey in Orange, TX in January 26, 1956, they traveled with his career and enjoyed adventures and fishing. In the Navy, he did two tours on the U.S.S. Saratoga learning about aircraft mechanics and later became an instructor. He was stationed with his family in Cuba during the missile crisis and in Subic Bay in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. He was proud of his service to his country and loved his family. They were old school with Lou at home and Chuck working hard to support everyone. In recent times he and his wife Lou Ella had lived in Karnes City, TX where he enjoyed getting out to fish once in awhile and served his faith as an active member of the St. Cornelius Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lou Ella Guffey Page, his brother and mother.
Survivors include daughters, Shelia Felde and Charlotte Page and sons, Albert Page and Charles Page and his son-in-law Hunter Bachrach; his grandchildren; Patrick Page, Albert Page, Maria Dobyns, Jesse Page, and Sarah Page and great-grandchildren; Ashton, Stephen Jr., Bryce, Jericho and Dimitri.
The family wants to express gratitude to all the amazing people that helped care for him this year. We are truly thankful that he was able to have kind, gentle care in these final difficult months.
Chuck Page was a retired Navy man who worked hard all his life to provide for his family, he had a decent sense of humor and would help a stranger. Say hello to Lou for us ... bon voyage!
