Clarence Nelson Brown

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for C. Nelson Brown, 65, of Commerce who passed away late Thursday evening at his residence. Born in Commerce, he was the son of the late Garnett and Willie Mae Crane Brown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Vicky Gunter Brown and two brothers, Buck Brown and Jr. Brown. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Darina and William R. "Bill" Boleman of Hartwell, grandchildren, Lanae Boleman and Gevin Boleman, sisters, Edna Gooch and Vera Lockman, both of Commerce and Linda Barnett of Nicholson. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday at 2:30 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 PM.
