Cleaver Mae Cobb of Commerce, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 1, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on January 6, 1940, in Alpharetta, Georgia, Cleaver made significant contributions through her work in the Engineering Department at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, where she was known for her expertise and commitment.
Throughout her life, Cleaver was deeply rooted in her family, which meant everything to her. She is survived by her loving daughter, Yvonne Lusk, and her cherished sister, Viola Smith. Cleaver's legacy continues to live on in them, as well as in the memories shared with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved sons, David Cobb and Roy Cobb, who left an indelible mark on her heart. Cleaver was also preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Allene Shirley Sissa, whose guidance and love shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.
Cleaver Mae Cobb will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her nurturing spirit and the love she so freely gave. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication, both in her career and within her family. As we honor her memory, we reflect on the profound impact she had on all who knew and loved her.
