May 27th, 2014. Mr. Sargent was the son of the late Ben and Louise Whisnant Sargent. Survivors include his sons, Andy (Crystal) Sargent of Jefferson and Kevin Howard of Braselton; brother, Jimmy Sargent of Talmo and uncle and aunt, Marvin and Pat Whisnant. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Faye Deaton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday May 29th, 2014 from 10 AM until 2 PM. Memorial services will be held on Friday May 30th, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home.
