Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Dorothy M. Hardt, 74, of Jefferson, GA who died on Saturday, January 29th at her residence. Born in Bayonne, NJ, she had lived in Jefferson, GA for the past 15 years. Mrs. Hardt is predeceased by her parents, Konstanty and Josephine Czucza, her sisters, Claire Czucza and Pat Starita and her brother, Stephen Czucza. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Heinz Hardt, 2 daughters, Paula Hardt and Heather Hardt, a granddaughter, Montanna Alexis and several nephews and nieces. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, February 2nd at 10 AM at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Winder, GA for a Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Park, also in Winder, GA. The family will receive friends at the church fellowhip hall following the interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice Healthcare of Athens, GA or to the American Cancer Society.
