Elijah George Allan Poe, age 20 of Maysville, GA passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019.

Born on Feb. 11, 1999 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of Clayton A. & Lori Poe of Jefferson and Christa P. & Richard Christopher of Maysville. He was a musician, a member of New Grace Church in Commerce, GA where he served as a former worship leader. He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Allan Poe and Otis Parson.

Survivors in addition to his parents include, brothers and sister-in-law, Jonah & Ashlyn Poe, Luke Wilkins; sisters, Madi Wilkins, Khloe Christopher; grandparents, Evelyn Poe, Commerce, Mildred Parson, Maysville, and Larry Maddox, Lawrenceville.

Funeral services will be held 5 pm Monday, April 1, 2019 at The Torch, formerly New Grace, with the Rev. Derek Anglin officiating. The body will lie in state 4:30 until time of the service. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends
5-8 pm Sunday and noon until 4 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
