Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce announces services for Emily Elizabeth Blalock Booth, age 71, of Nicholson, GA. She passed away on Tuesday March 25th, 2014 at ARMC after an extended battle with cancer.
Mrs. Booth was born on February 20th, 1943 to parents Willard and Yvonne Blalock. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Billy Booth; three children, Lee Booth, Randy (Veronica) Booth, and Jennifer (Sam) Bowen; four grandchildren, Jay (Brandi) Bowen, Rebekah Bowen, Hannah Bowen and Matthew Bowen; three great grandchildren, Holden Bowen, Brianna Rich and Brayden Rich; sisters, Ann Weldon, Joy (Sidney) Williams, Lou (James) Hambrick; brothers, Buzzie Blalock, and Don (Shirley) Blalock; sister-in-laws, Elaine Blalock, Mary Stewart, Dot (D.L.) Mealor; brother-in-law, Bobby (Peggy) Booth; and twenty three nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Blalock and her brother Tony Blalock.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 27th, 2014 at 1 PM at Cabin Creek Baptist Church in Nicholson, GA. Interment will be following services at Cabin Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce from 5 PM until 8 PM on Wednesday March 26th, 2014.
