Ernest "Bugfuzz" Mitchell Minish, 71, of 1050 Aderhold Rogers Rd., Commerce passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at his home surrounded by loving family and friends. A native of Madison County, Mr. Minish was born October, 2, 1942, a son of the late David Roland Minish and the late Reba Hanley Minish. Mr. Minish served in the United States Marine Reserves. Mr. Minish was retired from the University of Georgia where he was employed as a brick mason. He was a member of Erastus Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Lackey, Jeanette Ford and Sylvia Cochran, and his nephew, John Michael Bellew. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Minish, of the home; his daughter and son in law, Deanna and Mike Richards, daughter, Debbie Huxford, grandchildren, Micah and (Kaley), Caleb, and Titus Huxford, Jacksonville, Fl., Rachel and Jared Richards, Jefferson; brother and sister in law, Leon and Peggy Minish, Commerce; sisters and brothers in law, Mary Jane Cadwell, Commerce, Helen and Tommy Adams, Hull, Naomi and Andy Denton, Charlotte, NC, June and John Bellew, Nicholson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11 AM, Monday, July 7, at Erastus Christian Church with Pastors Ric Huxford and Steve Parker officiating. Burial was in the Minish Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were his six grandchildren.
