Flora Nell (Loggins) Fortson

Nell Fortson, age 73 of Colbert, GA passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at North Ridge Medical Center.

Born on May 22, 1947 in Commerce, GA, Mrs. Fortson was the daughter of the late Elbert “Buck” and Mae Louise Sorrow Loggins. She was a homemaker, and served as Pastor of True Pentecostal Church of Danielsville, a member of Colbert Living Waters Holiness Church, and was the widow of Charles Fortson.

Survivors include daughters, Jackie Bedgood (Dick) of York S.C., Mae Norman (Andre) of Hoschton GA., and Robin Veal of Seneca S.C.; brothers, Delano Loggins, Barnell Loggins; sisters, Martha Calloway, Nora Shaw, Glinda Hammonds; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by two brothers; Odell Loggins and Earnest Loggins, along with one sister; Hazel Loggins.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, January 11, 2021 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Janice Loggins. Burial will follow in Danielsville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00 PM Monday until time of the service at the funeral home.
