Frances Marie Brown age 82 of Homer passed away Sunday December 17, 2017.
Mrs. Brown was born in Commerce on December 11, 1935 to the late Melvin & Ruby Green Minish. She was a custodian at Banks County Middle School and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Seaborn Brown, and a daughter, Bonnie Minish.
Survivors include, son & daughter in law, Scott & Michelle Brown of Homer, son, Michael Brown of Homer, daughter, Barbara Marlow of Homer, daughter & son in law, Rhonda & Dennis Smith of Homer, sister, Linda Jordan of Commerce & Becky Williamson of Arcade, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday December 19, 2017 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Blalock and Rev. Dwayne Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
