Fred Richard Rutledge, 81, of 205 Maplewood Lane, Hull, GA passed away Saturday, June 07, 2014.
Mr. Rutledge was the son of the late Ben Richard and Dona Mae Key Rutledge and was a retired US Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and James Rutledge; a great grandson, Harrison Walters.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Fountain Rutledge of the residence; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ben Richard (Jenny) Rutledge, Carlton, Dwight Douglas (Starla) Rutledge, Hull, Keith Dennis (Amanda) Rutledge, Whitsett, NC; a daughter, Tracey Rutledge Kindred, Winchester, KY; two sisters, Stella Thurston, Charlotte, NC and Betty Reavis, Winston Salem, NC; 10 grandchildren, Sydney Walters, Jarrett Rutledge, Caleb, Macy and Mylane Rutledge, Chase, Tayler and Micah Kindred, Shelby and Emma Rutledge; and great-grandson, Mickey Rutledge.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 10 at 11 am in the Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Guest officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluestone Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, June 09 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
