Gladys Crane Etris

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Gladys Crane Etris, 72, of Maysville who passed away on Wednesday evening at her residence. Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Ella Mae Pressley Crane. She was the widow of Benjamin Etris and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Tracey R. Etris and Evette Louisa Etris and siblings, Bernice Edwards, Bobby Crane and Brodice Crane. Survivors include a daughter, Naja M. and Eddie England of Maysville; grandchildren, Jeremy B. and Melanie England, Joshua Denton and Kristi and Matt Ryczek; great grandchildren, Shaelyn England, Skylar England, Garrett England, Nayland Ryczek and Nallie Ryczek; siblings, Howard and Polly Sue Crane, Jimmy and Shirley Crane, all of Maysville, Eva and Paul Guidy of Atlanta, Margie and David Drake of Jefferson and Edgar and Gail Crane of Nevada; her best friend, Marie Carson of Commerce. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with Rev. Alex Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Homer Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 PM and at other times at the residence located at 1497 Bob Mann Rd. in Maysville.
