Glenda Robertson

Glenda Smart Robertson, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on September 15, 2024 in Colbert, Georgia. She was born on February 14, 1961, in Athens, Georgia, to the late William Bryant and Elveina Flanagan Smart. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and strength.

Glenda is survived by her devoted husband, Tommy Robertson, and her beloved children, Brandon (Brianna) Robertson, Alicia Robertson, and Robbie Lee. She took immense pride in her role as a mother and grandmother, doting on her six grandchildren, and joyfully anticipating the arrival of her expectant grandchild, Chaseyn Lane Robertson.

Her legacy is further carried on by her loving siblings: sisters, Deborah Brooks, Nancy Hardigree, and Joanne Dalton; and brothers, Dean Smart and Roger Smart. Glenda's family and friends remember her as a source of kindness and unwavering support, always willing to lend a helping hand and offer words of encouragement.

Visitation will be held at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce, Georgia, on September 17, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Friends and family are also invited to the interment, which will take place on September 28, 2024, at Bible Baptist Church in Colbert, Georgia, at 2:00 PM.

Glenda Smart Robertson's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
