Glenna C. Wheeler

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Glenna C. Wheeler, 74, of Commerce who passed away on Monday at the Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Vergie Sergent Bagley and the late Herbert Cornett. Survivors include her children, Julie (Chad) Highfield and Karen (Robert) Bagwell, both of Commerce, Steve (Gillian) Dale of Ft. Bragg, NC and John (Virginia) Dale of Cleveland, TN; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Terry Cornett of Marietta and Marvin Cornett of Tennessee. Services are scheduled for Wednesday at 3 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. T. Gary Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM.
