June 17, 1951 — March 23, 2012

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces memorial services for Gloria Jean Lingo Smoot, 60, of Jefferson who passed away at her residence early Friday morning. Born in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Wanda Kelly Lingo and was married to Danny Smoot of the residence. Other survivors include her children, Terri Lee Davis, Tresa Lee McCain Smoot and Bonnie McPherson, all of Jefferson and Keven Eugene Wolffe of Gwinnett County; grandchildren, Kevin Daniel Smoot, Brittney Jean Braden, Hurvey William Davis III and Mystic Faith Wolffe; 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The body was cremated and memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday at 5 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Tarpkins officiating.
