Gwynelle Margarite Turner

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Gwynelle Margarite Turner age 93 of Commerce, who passed away on August 12, 2013. Ms. Gwynelle (Bolton) Turner was born November 19, 1919 in Commerce, Ga. to the late Joseph A. and Myrtice Bolton. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Turner. Ms. Gwynelle Turner is also preceded in death by her four sisters: Ms. Delona Bolton, Ms. Janie O'Kelley, Ms. Dorthy Gillispie, Ms. Cozette Bolton and her brother Young Emory Bolton. Her daughter, Carolyn Anthony also precedes her in death. She is survived by her son, William B. Turner and daughter-in-law, Betty J. Turner, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ms. Turner has been in the Pruitte Health & Rehabilitation, Athens, Ga. since June 2004 due to physical and health impairment. Ms. Turner worked at Blue Bell Mfg. company from 1944 and continued the work until November 1972. She became unable to work at that time and had to leave Blue Bell because of a physical disablility. Ms. Turner acquired many friends at Blue Bell but most of these treasured friends have all preceded her in this life. Services for Ms. Gwynelle Turner will be held graveside 11 AM on Wednesday August 14, 2013 from Jackson Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Manus officiating.
