Ivie Funeral Home of Danielsville announces the death of Harris Ervin McCurley, age 65, of 50 Edgewood Dr., Danielsville, died Wed. Sept. 04, 2013. Born in Clarke Co., son of the late Jewell Bullock and Ernestine Elizabeth Harris McCurley and was self employed as a Fire System Installer.
He is survived by his wife Becky Weaver McCurley of Athens and Partner Sheila Baddeley, Danielsville; son, Harris (Melissa Gillespie) McCurley, Jr., Danielsville; daughters, Melissa (Jerry) Cooper, Colbert, Christie McCurley, Athens, Amy (Shannon) Haley, Watkinsville, Heather Padgett and Kelly Baddeley, Danielsville, and Holly (Joey) Putt, Colbert; a sister, Beverly (Ronnie) Price, Colbert; 13 grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held Sunday, Sept. 8 at 3:00 pm at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel in Danielsville where the family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Sunday.
