Holly Anderson Coder, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2024, in Danielsville, Georgia, at the age of 62. Born on December 22, 1961, in Ames, Iowa, Holly’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Holly dedicated a significant part of her life to her career as an office manager at the University of Georgia. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and unwavering support for her colleagues made her a cherished member of the university community. She approached every task with dedication and a smile, often inspiring those around her to strive for excellence.

Holly was married to Dr. Kim Coder for 40 years, and together they raised three wonderful children: Linden Coder, and sons, Kyle (Dande) Coder and Seth Coder. Her love for her family was boundless, and she took pride in being a caring spouse and nurturing mother. Holly was also a devoted grandmother to Eliana Coder and Margaret Coder, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Holly is survived by her siblings: Kristi Couture, Lori Blask, Kathi Steenhagen, Rosie Anderson, Susie Anderson, and Nancy Stolte; and brothers Mike Anderson, Mark Anderson, Kraig Anderson, and Doug Anderson. The connections she maintained with her large family were a testament to her love and commitment to those dear to her heart.

Holly was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Donald Dwayne and Margaret Koprek Anderson, and her sisters, Lindi Snyder and Lael Peterson. Their memories continue to be cherished by all who loved them.

Holly’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues. She will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her unwavering kindness, her infectious laughter, and her deep dedication to family. As we mourn her loss, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

A memorial service will be held 1-3 pm Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Madison County Library.
