Howard Thomas Ervin

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Howard Thomas "Fuzz" Ervin, 72, of Bethlehem who passed away at his residence on Wednesday. Born in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Clarence Ervin and the late Mattie Brown Smith. He was married to Peggy W. Ervin of the residence. Other survivors include his children, Tina Ervin Rider of Bethlehem, Tom Ervin of Alto, Tim Ervin and Tammy Ervin, both of Bethlehem; a sister, Brenda (John) Wood of Commerce; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Calvert and Dale A. Rider, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 PM.
