Howard Milton Mccoy

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Howard Milton McCoy, 90, of Maysville who passed away on Saturday evening at Hill Haven Nursing Home. Born in Hall County, GA, he was the son of the late John L. and Mittie Rucker McCoy and was also preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Mr. McCoy was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WWII. Survivors include a brother, Donald L. McCoy of Gillsville, a sister, Lucy (Sam) Ragan of Cornelia and several nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for Tuesday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with interment following in the Unity Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 PM.
