Hubert William Greenway

Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Hubert William Greenway, Jr., age 83, who passed away at Hill Haven Nursing Home on Wednesday evening. He was the son of the late Hubert William Greenway, Sr., and the late Flora Nix Greenway. Survivors include 2 sons, Bradley Greenway of Homer and John William Greenway of Baldwin, 2 daughters, Francine Parson of Lula and Maxine Carlan of Demorest, 2 sisters, Emma Jean Worley and Louise Lewallen both of Lula, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive. Services for Mr. Greenway will be held on Sunday, November 23rd at 2PM from the Gillsville Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim House, Craig Carlan and Bradley Greenway officiating. The body will lie in state beginning at 1:30PM. Burial will be in the Gillsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-9PM.
