Mr. Sanders was born January 27th, 1947 in Fulton County, GA to the late George Grant Sanders and Gussie Lou Sanders. He was a self-employed landscaper.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rita Ann Angel Sanders of the residence; sons, James Hugh Sanders of Jefferson, GA, and Jeffery Daniel Sanders of Anniston, AL; daughter, Donna Lucille Sanders of Bethlehem, GA; brothers, George T. Sanders of Jefferson, GA, and James Kenneth Sanders of Bowman, GA; sister, Rose Marie Sanders of Arcade, GA. 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, August 6th at Tyrus Baptist Church, with Rev. Joel Shadburn and Rev. Bo Whistnant officiating. Burial will follow at Baird Maxwell Cemetery in Nicholson, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, August 5th, from 4:00PM to 9:00PM.
