Jackie Elaine (Walker) Jenkins

Jackie Elaine Walker Jenkins, age 62 of Commerce, GA passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021.

Born on Aug. 22, 1959 in Blackshear, GA, Mrs. Jenkins was the daughter of Shirley Jean Griffin Strickland and the late Jack Wilard Strickland. She was a truck driver with Ratt Pack Express and was preceded in death by a daughter, Margarett Consuela Strickland Giles, and a sister, Mary Lynn Nix.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Richard Jenkins of the home; son, Dennis Gilbert (Michelle Dawn) Walker, Jr.; daughter, Andrea Walker; brother, Larry Strickland; sister, Rose Marie Rozier; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021 at Pearson-Dial Funeral Home, 659 Main Street, Blackshear, GA 31516. The family will receive friends 12 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
