Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for James "Cory" Cordelle Fincher, Jr., 43, of Decatur who passed away at the St. Mary's Hospital in Athens on Thursday. Born in Wilmington, DE, he was the son of James Cordelle Fincher, Sr. of Columbus, GA and Margaret Dooling Fincher of Commerce. Other survivors include a sister, Malinda Fincher of Commerce; grandfather, James Wallace, Jr.; aunts and uncles, Alice Marie Colman and Eleanor and Daniel B. Pickett, Timmy Wallace; best friend, Charles Chasen; special friends, Troy Farina, David Crawford, Eleanor Cobb; numerous other friends and cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at 1 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with Eleanor Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 PM.
