Janie Lynn Garrett

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Janie Lynn Wilson Garrett, 40, of Commerce who passed away on Saturday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Gwinnett Co., GA, she was the daughter of Ellen Wilkerson Garrett of Commerce and the late Robert Michael Wilson. Survivors include her husband of the residence, Johnny Garrett, children Georjana Garrett, John Garrett and Jimmy Garrett, all of Commerce; granddaughter, Brodeigh Garrett of Macon; her mother and stepfather, Ellen and Wayne Garrett of Commerce; siblings, Kimberly Patterson of Gainesville and Jeff Wilson of Texas; grandparents, George and Evelyn Wilkerson of Monroe and Bobby Garrett of Nicholson; aunts and uncles Susan and Jeff Cartwright, Rev. Raymond Wilson; nieces and nephews. Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by a daughter Breanna Pruett. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at 11 AM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce. The place of interment will be Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 PM.
