Janie M Potts

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Janie Potts, 64, of Commerce who passed away at her residence on Wednesday afternoon. Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Jeanette Westmoreland McDonald. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Potts, who died on June 5th and whose funeral service she will share. Survivors include sons, Terry Potts and Daniel McDonald, both of Commerce; brothers, Bodie McDonald of Commerce and Clyde McDonald of Dry Pond; 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. T. Gary Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 - 8 PM.
