Jerry Lee Smith, Sr.

Jerry Lee Smith, Sr, age 77 of Commerce, GA passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.

Born on July 9, 1947 in Carey, Ohio, Mr. Smith was the son of the late John Jr. and Ruth Steel Smith. He was the widower of Patricia Beeman Smith, a construction worker with Star Home Builders, and was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lee Smith, Jr.; sister, Janet Smith; and a brother, John E. Smith.

Survivors include his step-mother, Ruth Brown of Lucasville, Ohio; daughter, Chrystal Lynn Smith; sisters, Betty (John) Craft, Roberta Noell, Samantha Jenkins; brothers, Jeffery (Jackie) Smith, Jessie Smith, James Smith; grandson, Christopher Lear; great-granddaughters, Laykelyn and Gemma Lear; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A direct cremation will be taking place per the deceased wishes.
