Jessie Lamar Eubanks

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Jessie Lamar Eubanks 97 of Commerce who died early Thursday morning at the BJC Hospital. Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Jessie Cornelius and Ertie Virginia Barnett Eubanks. He was predeceased by two wives, Margie Irvin Eubanks the mother of the children and Elise Bennett Eubanks. Survivors include his children, J. Walter and Joyce Eubanks of Commerce, Randall and Sandra Eubanks of Tucker, Betty J. Baxter of Commerce. siblings Ollie Mae Lewis of Commerce, Gynelle Otting of Baldwin, Curtis Eubanks of Commerce, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren 2 step great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren . Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 PM to 8 PM and on Friday from 1 PM until the time of service and at other tiems at the respective homes of the children. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial be made to the charity of ones choice.
