Joann Vargas, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, in Braselton, Georgia. She was born on February 4, 1948, in The Bronx, New York, to her late father Raymond Ulvano and her late mother Theresa Labrador. Joann was the devoted wife of the late Justino Vargas and built a life filled with love and compassion.

Throughout her life, Joann made a significant impact on her community. She previously pastored Greater Love Ministries and was a member of Free Chapel Church. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her ministry not only nurtured her own spiritual growth but also inspired countless individuals in their journeys of faith.

Joann is survived by her four sons, Justino (Lynn) Vargas, Jr., Adam (Tara) Vargas, David (Jennifer) Vargas, and Edward (Christine) Vargas, who carry forward her legacy of love and strength. Also cherishing her memory are her sister Rainelle (Greg) Vazquez, her many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as a cherished niece and nephew.

Joann Vargas will be remembered as a beacon of hope and a resilient spirit who shared her love unconditionally. Her legacy of faith and service will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
