Joey Preston Matthews, age 57, of Nicholson, GA passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017.
Mr. Matthews was the son of Robert Matthews of Nicholson, GA and the late Elsie Diane Stewart Matthews. He was a member of Walnut Fort Baptist Church, and a brick mason.
Survivors in addition to his father include a wife, Angela Matthews of the residence; brother, James Matthews, Homer; and sister, Lisa Smith, Gainesville.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends 1-2 pm Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
