Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel, Danielsville, announces memorial services for Joy T. Patterson, 43, of Athens who passed away on Sunday at her residence. Born in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of Katie S. Patterson of Athens and the late Donald Patterson. Survivors, along with her mother, include a son, Tyler Patterson of Athens, siblings, Deborah Andrews of Maine, Yvonne Seay of Danielsville, Steve Patterson of Athens, Tony Patterson of Comer and Kelton Patterson of Colbert. Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday at 2 PM from the Sonlight Baptist Church located at 1134 Hargrove Lake Rd. in Colbert with Rev. Joe Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1 PM until the time of service and at other times at 1365 Hull Rd. in Athens.
