Ivie Funeral Home Commerce announces services for Joyce "Pat" Keenan of Nicholson who died Monday August 25th, 2014. She was the daughter of the late William and Susie (Cook) McCrary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Keenan.
Survivors include six sons, Cecil Hanley of Danielsville, Marion Hanley of Comer, Elvis Hanley of Toccoa, Marshall Hanley of Danielsville, Melvin Hanley of Commerce and Rev. Wendell Hanley of Danielsville; step son, Tracy Keenan of Colbert; step daughter, Suzie Buice of Colbert; sister, Dovie Shaw of Commerce; twenty eight grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday August 28th, 2014 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Hanley and Rev. Richard Duncan officiating with burial in the Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM and at other times at the home of Melvin Hanley located at 30 Carriage Court in Commerce.
