Julia R Buckner

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Julia R. Buckner, of Maysville, GA, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was 83. 

She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church and was a true prayer warrior. 

Survivors include her children, Roy (Annette) Cisneros, Cynthia Marie (Gregory) Stewart, Thomas Lamar (Jennifer) Buckner, Jr.; sister, Josie “Nana”; grandchildren, Kierstan, Jordan, Lauren, Brayden, Landon; and a number of nieces and nephews. 

Born August 17, 1941, in Lockhart, TX, she was preceded in death by her mother Maria Ramirez and her husband Thomas L. Buckner, Sr. Julia worked in computer management and was known for her hearty laugh and kind heart. She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed.
