June Carter Brock

June Allyson Carter Brock, age 62, of Maysville went to join Jesus on Sunday June 15th, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born on February 16th, 1952, June was the daughter of the late D.S. Carter and Nomie Lee Sorrows Carter. Ms. Brock was a devoted mother, granny, sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved spending time with all of her family. Ms. Brock also loved gardening, sewing, and crafts.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby James Brock and two daughters, Heather Fowler and Joy Folwer Malner. Survivors include her son, John Mark Hunter and wife Penny, of Lula; granddaughters, Brittany, Makayla and Gabrielle Malner, Commerce; sister, Susan and brother in law Mike Davis, Commerce; nieces, Jessica Pilgrim, Kristal Wilkes, Deidra Davis, and Lindsey Davis Parks.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 17th, 2014 from 5 PM until 8 PM. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18th, 2014 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Trent Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill.
