Ivie Funeral Home Commerce announces services for Karen R. Hill 60 of Homer who passed away Sunday Oct. 9, 2011. Survivors include her husband Harold Hill of the home, her mother Norma Carroll Rogers of Smyrna, Ga. 2 daughters Danielle Hill Gaylor of Homer and Renne Hill Aikens of Lawrenceville, Ga. a brother F. Michael Rogers of Springlake, N.C. and 3 sisters Virginia Day of Dallas, Ga. Pamela Leary of St. Louis, Mo. and Kimberly Warthen of Smyrna, Ga. 4 Grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her father Frank Kirby Rogers, a daughter Bobbi-Jo Hill Lankford and a brother William (Skip) Rogers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 PM from the Homer Presbyterian Church with Rev. Alex Stephens officiating with burial in the Banks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 PM.
