Larry J. Bonner

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Larry J. Bonner, 65, of Maysville who passed away at his residence early Tuesday evening after an extended illness. Born in Hall County, GA, he was the son of the late William Deaver and Mary Hazel Dale Bonner. He was married to Faye Hunter Bonner of the residence. Other survivors include a daughter, Cindy Bonner (Tim) Harkins of Maysville; grandchildren, Courtney Harkins and Bethany Harkins, both of Maysville; siblings, William D. Bonner of Flowery Branch, Shirley Ransom of Murrayville and Margaret Romans of Gainesville; half-siblings, Chris Bonner, Waymon Bonner, Louie Bonner and Jenny Smallwood; nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 2 PM from the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Maysville with Rev. Swayne Carlan and Joey Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening and Thursday evening from 6-8 PM and at other times at the home of Tim and Cindy Harkins located at 570 Dixon Bridge Rd. in Maysville.
